Tips for the application and the process

We are happy about every individually designed application. It is important for us to know what you are particularly good at, what you really enjoy doing, what you still want to do with your life and what conditions you need as well as what you don't want. The more precisely you can answer these questions in advance with the help of your application documents, the better we can assess whether we have a suitable position for you at present or in the future.

We conduct job interviews in a relaxed atmosphere at eye level. As a rule, a member of the HR team and the team leader of the respective specialist department are present. In the interview, we want to get to know you - as you are - and your "life plan" and find out together with you whether we fit together. We like to take our time for this, so an appointment at our company usually lasts around three hours.

As much as we appreciate the flow and momentum of good interviews, we try to ensure that the application process is as comparable as possible with the help of structured questions - which we ask in all interviews - as well as standardized personality tests and predefined technical questions. The interview is also a good opportunity for you to find out the things about us that you personally need to know in order to assess whether you would like to work for us. After all, we may spend a lot of time together in the future.

Regardless of whether it's a good fit or not, we want the interview to be a valuable and hopefully positive experience for both sides.

In many cases, a voluntary trial day can be a useful addition to the job interview. It gives you as an applicant the opportunity to get a realistic impression of the future tasks/projects and to get to know the entire team.

  • You will receive an immediate confirmation of receipt of your application
  • Your application will be forwarded by the HR team to the relevant department, where it will be reviewed by your future colleagues.
  • The decision - whether we meet in person during an interview - lies with the team leader of the respective department.
  • At least the team leader and someone from the HR team are present at the interview.
  • A general questionnaire and a subject-specific test must be completed in advance (approx. 1 hr.)
  • Afterwards, the most beautiful and exciting part takes place - the interview (approx. 2 hours).
  • We will be happy to discuss the further course of the application personally in an interview!

We try to avoid unnecessarily long waiting times for decisions as much as possible and to complete the application process within a few weeks. Unfortunately, due to the large number of people involved in the decision-making process, we are not always able to do this.

If you feel that you have been waiting too long for a concrete answer from us, please contact us (preferably just give us a call) so that we can review the status of your application together. We are grateful for any feedback from applicants!

Selecting "suitable" candidates for interviews solely on the basis of their application documents is a major challenge for any company. Within the scope of our possibilities, we always strive for a fair and transparent decision-making process and open communication.

Due to the large number of applications, it is unfortunately not possible for us to contact all candidates personally and to send each one a personal rejection letter (including a detailed reason based on the application documents). It is often only nuances that are decisive for decisions and despite all efforts we cannot exclude one or the other wrong decision. Therefore, please keep in mind that rejections on our part are in no way a value judgment about your qualifications and certainly not about you as a person.

PS: We are aware that every personalized application involves considerable effort and a certain level of expectation. Therefore, we are of course available for more detailed information at any time. Just contact us!
